Short Bio

Tinashe Dhliwayo has been in the university environment for over 10 years. He spent his graduate studies on radiation measurement and protection, conducting and analyzing experiments in advanced shielding material, nuclear non-proliferation and safeguards. He spent 3 years at the Zimbabwe Open University as a course designer and 2 years at the University of Zimbabwe as a teaching assistant. He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship in 2009. Tinashe Dhliwayo attended courses in nuclear non-proliferation and safeguards at Oak Ridge National lab and Nuclear Safety at Sandia National Lab. He was employed as a Lecturer at Amity University, Dubai from 2012 until 2015. He then joined the Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, Advanced Energy department as a lecturer in 2017.
