Abu Dhabi Polytechnic used to operate with little focus on research activities and teaching have been in the center of its core business. Recently, Abu Dhabi Polytechnic started to focus more on scientific research and how it can be integrated into its mission. A “research and scholarly activities policy” was developed for this reason and it has been approved by all respective channels. The developed policy addresses:

The Abu Dhabi Polytechnic Research Policy is now included in the Policies and Procedures Manual. The ISET faculty members are now actively involved in conducting research in the following areas:
