Topics (CTs):

CT1. Units, definitions, and basic concepts. Atomic structure and nomenclature of simple compound. Periodic Table of Elements. Units of measurements used in chemistry. Units used for concentration (parts per million (ppm), parts per billion (ppb) and parts per trillion (ppt), normality, molarity, equivalents, cc/kg, and weight percent.

CT7. Covalent Bonding and Orbitals. Hybridization and the Localized Electron Model. The Molecular Orbital Model, Bonding in Homonuclear Diatomic Molecules, Bonding in Heteronuclear Diatomic Molecules.
