Short Bio

Prof. Murad Al Shibli, has completed his Ph.D. in 2006 from Concordia University in Canada. Currently working in the capacity of the Head of Aircraft Maintenance Technology program and the Project Manager of the Joint Aviation Command Program (JAC) at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic. Formerly, worked as founding Head of Electromechanical Engineering Technology program and Autonomous Systems Engineering Technology Program at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, as well as serving as the Chairman of Mechatronics Engineering Department at the German Jordanian University. Holds more than 25 years of industrial and academic experience in Canada, Jordan and UAE, at Concordia University, German Jordanian University, American University of Sharjah, UAEU University, and Abu Dhabi Polytechnic affiliated with Institute of Applied Technology. Published more than 55 publications in international journals and conferences. Registered 6 provisional patents in USA in Artificial intelligent Systems, Drones and Blockchain. Holds 2 patents sponsored by TAKAMUL at DoD. Engaged with 3 international initiatives on Smart Drones, Secured Cryptocurrency, and ICOs. Active researcher in artificial intelligent systems, neural networks, machine learning and big data, robotics, autonomous systems, drones, control systems, mechatronics, control and space systems, and technical education paradigm. Serving Member of IEEE, AIAA, ISA, NASA-TELCOM-ROBEXS, ICREPQ as well different institutional and national committees.
