This three years program leads to the completion of training requirements of a EASA CAT B1.1-Aeromechanical technologies or the EASA CAT B2-Avionics License program in addition to the completion of the academic requirements of a Higher Diploma in Aircraft Engineering Technology.
Having the training requirements for the EASA CAT B program, two years of industrial experience thereafter will make graduates eligible to apply for an EASA CAT ‘B’ Maintenance Certifying Technician License. This license is the key for work in civil aviation on commercial aircraft at any recognized or approved maintenance facility worldwide.
The Higher Diploma program is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR), U.A.E. since 2011.
