Relationship with Alumni

 

Abu Dhabi Polytechnic has clear lines of communications with alumni of the ISET program to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the Abu Dhabi Polytechnic experience, to address accreditation metrics, and to network and encourage mentoring and recruiting of secondary school students. Graduates regularly visit Abu Dhabi Polytechnic and have organized themselves through the Abu Dhabi Polytechnic Alumni club on social media. Available graduates participated in the department retreat in November 2017.

 

In addition, The ISET program, since its inception, has been working closely with the industry to ensure that the ISET program is designed, run and maintained according to the vigorous demands of ever-growing information security industry in the country and the region. Moreover, to guarantee a world-class industrial certification and international standards, ISET has been developing a partnership with several international industries and institutions such as Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, CompTIA, Red HAT, Symantec, MacAfee, ISC2, EC-COUNCIL, SANS, ISACA, and GIAC.

 

In order to provide the national industries with qualified nationals, several strategic entities have been approached in order to afford the candidates with scholarships, industrial training and job opportunities. Among these national and international companies and entities are: Abu Dhabi Government.

 

Relationships with Other Education Providers


The ISET program has relationships with the ISET related programs at other institutes in the UAE. The ISET program also has international relationships with the Information Security education and training providers around the world.

 

National/International Collaboration


ISET program has been working closely with peer institutions internationally to provide more exposure for the program and its students/faculty.

 

International:

The ISET Department recongnized the need for international exposure for its program and initiated a thread of collaboration with many international institutes. MOUs are already signed with some of these institutes.
