The Program learning outcomes of the Aircraft Maintenance Technology program provide a measure of the program is meeting its educational objectives.

 

AMT Diploma and Higher Diploma Programs:

The current POs for the AMT Diploma and Higher Diploma approved by the CAA are:

  • PO1: : Provide balanced academic and work-based learning to equip graduates with the knowledge and the skills necessary for aircraft maintenance.
  • PO2: Provide Graduates with the Basic Knowledge and skills necessary to enable them for professional careers in the aviation industry and life-long learning.
  • PO3: Enable graduates to adhere to the highest level of professionalism, ethical standards, and environmental awareness.
  • PO4: Enable graduates’ effective communication skills and cultural awareness in building teams and leadership.

 

AMT SOs for the Diploma Level:

  • SO1: Apply mathematics, science, and applied sciences to Aircraft Maintenance;
  • SO2: Analyze and Interpret Aircraft Maintenance data;
  • SO3: Work effectively on multi-disciplinary and diverse teams;
  • SO4: Make professional and ethical decisions;
  • SO5: Communicate effectively, using both written and oral communication skills;
  • SO6: Engage in and recognize the need for life-long learning;
  • SO7: Assess contemporary Aircraft Maintenance issues;
  • SO8: Use the techniques, skills, and modern technology necessary for professional practice;

 

AMT SOs for the Higher Diploma Level:

Applied Bachelor in Aircraft Maintenance Management (ABAMM) Program:

The Applied Bachelor in Aircraft Maintenance Management (ABAMM) Program Educational objectives (POs) are derived from Abu Dhabi Polytechnic's mission and are measured through a related set of Student Outcomes (SOs). The stated POs for the ABAMM are::

  • PO1: Provide curriculum in Aviation Maintenance that generates graduates having competencies in the maintenance and repair of modern aircraft;
  • PO2: Engage students with teamwork experiences while demonstrating effective communication skills and knowledge of related contemporary issues;
  • PO3:Provide students with quality education incorporating current technologies to prepare them for professional development and advanced studies in aircraft maintenance or a related area;
  • PO4: Foster professional and ethical environment to instil personal responsibility for continuous professional development and life-long learning.

 

The student Ouctomes for the ABAMM Program are:
