Dr. Dagher joined Abu Dhabi Polytechnic Institute in 2018, in which she serves in teaching and research in the Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineering Technology department. She was awarded her Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from UAE University in 2014. After receiving her PhD, she worked as Postdoctoral fellow in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the UAE University for four years. Previously, she had been a researcher in the same university since 2007. Her teaching and research interests are in Material characterization, Nanotechnology, Microfluidics, and Nano/micro-fabrication and has published extensively in these areas. She is a co-author on 15+ high impact international journal and 12+ conference publications as well as 2 book chapters. She serves on the editorial boards and as a reviewer of many international journals. She is also the recipient of many awards.
