Dr. Natheer Khasawneh is a technology leader, academic, and applied AI researcher with over 20 years of experience spanning university education, research, and industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. His work focuses on artificial intelligence, computer vision, robotics, unmanned systems (UAVs/UGVs), and secure software systems. Dr. Khasawneh has served as associate professor at Jordan University of Science, where he taught and supervised students in information security, AI, and embedded systems, while contributing to curriculum development and research initiatives. He also worked as a software development consultant with EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi, leading R&D efforts and advising on AI-driven solutions for real-world and defense applications. His research has been published in leading international journals and conferences, with contributions spanning medical AI, computer vision, cybersecurity, and intelligent systems. Dr. Khasawneh is particularly interested in bridging theory and practice, translating advanced research into deployable, secure, and impactful technologies.
