Beytiye Derya Aydın holds an MSc in Atmospheric Science and a BSc in Meteorological Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. She has experience in weather forecasting, climate modelling, and renewable energy applications, and joined Abu Dhabi Polytechnic in 2025 as a Meteorology Instructor.
Prior to joining Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, she held senior roles in forecasting, planning, and energy analytics within the renewable energy sector. Her work included developing solar and wind forecasting models, supporting energy market operations, and delivering technical training on applied meteorology and energy systems. She has strong expertise in Python, R, MATLAB, SQL, MongoDB, Databricks, and Power BI, and regularly works with ECMWF products, weather maps, and forecast visualization tools.
