CHEM-1013: Chemistry II (W.B.)

Description
This course continues to provide the fundamentals of chemistry and to equip learners with the critical thinking skills most relevant for further studies. It emphasizes on the following topics thermochemistry, states of matter and their properties, phase diagrams, solutions composition and properties, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, acids and bases and the fundamentals of electrochemistry. Lecture 3 hours/week, Tutorial 1 hour/week. Pre-requisites: CHEM1011; CHEM1012. Co-requisite: CHEM1014.
