PET-2031: Drilling Technology I (Blended L.)

Description
This course (with lab) introduces basic drilling techniques and drilling fluid properties. It covers aspects of rig components and fundamental operation associated with drilling a well for petroleum exploration and production. Lab measurements of drilling fluid properties are conducted. Lecture 2 hrs/wk; Lab: 3 hrs/wk.
