Petroleum Engineering Students’ Visit to Schlumberger

AD Poly SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) Students’ Chapter had organized a field trip, for Petroleum Engineering Technology students, to Schlumberger (the best worldwide service provider in oil industry) Middle East Training Center. The participated students had a chance to observe how Schlumberger engineers are trained, to see the real equipment and facilities that are used in oil industry such as drilling rig, completion equipment, wireline logging units with complete setup including logging tools, cementing unit setup, coil tubing, well testing equipment and many others. Students were very excited to see whatever they learned at AD Poly in real life example and sizes.
Thanks to Schlumberger team for their warm welcome and hospitality. It was agreed with Schlumberger to have similar students visits in the future and to cooperate in terms students internship and possible recruitment sessions.
