Welcome to the Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineering Technology (EMSET) program at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic (ADPOLY), a distinguished institution dedicated to cultivating the next generation of applied engineers. Our program is meticulously designed to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared to meet the dynamic and rapid demands of the industry.

The EMSET program encompasses four Applied Bachelor engineering disciplines, equipping candidates with advanced knowledge and hands-on expertise in:

• Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Intelligent Systems Engineering Technology.
• Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Smart Manufacturing Engineering Technology.

Our curriculum is industry-focused, seamlessly, providing students with the skills and knowledge employers seek, particularly in the rapidly evolving AI landscape. EMSET offers minor programs in Artificial Intelligence (AI) incorporated in two disciplines:

1. Electrical Engineering Technology with minor in AI
2. Mechanical Engineering Technology with minor in AI

EMSET Applied Bachelor programs emphasize hands-on skills via vocational training:

• On-Campus Training (OCT): Students engage in practical sessions that simulate real-world scenarios, enhancing their technical proficiency.
• On-Job Training (OJT): Our partnerships with leading industries provide students with internship opportunities, allowing them to apply their learning in professional settings.

These experiences are pivotal in bridging the gap between academic concepts and industry practices, equipping students with the skills to excel in their careers and ensuring they are job-ready upon graduation. To further enhance this alignment, regular feedback from the EMSET Advisory Committee ensures that the curriculum remains at the cutting edge of industry advancements.
