Description
Autonomous Systems training course whose purpose is to give a broad understanding of the wide area of autonomous systems and the foundational knowledge in the topic areas required to understand and develop autonomous systems. A hands-on introduction to programming autonomous systems such as UAV, AUV and mobile robotics. The focus of this course is on designing systems that navigate independently in complex environments. Specific topics include localization, mapping, kinematics, path planning and computer vision. Lab 3 hrs/wk.
