Description
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the operations of a process plant. Participants will explore the fundamental concepts of process plant operations, including the identification and assessment of common hazards, the major equipment units used in the industry, and the control systems that regulate plant processes. The course will emphasize practical skills through hands-on experience with process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), as well as the application of communication protocols essential for effective teamwork and safety in a process plant environment. Additionally, students will gain insights into process plant’s specific units and operations at ADPoly, preparing them for real-world applications in the field of process and unit operations engineering.
