The AD Poly institutional goal is to provide the necessary balance of theoretical studies and practical vocational training, on-campus training and apprenticeship to prepare students for a career as technologists in the technology and allow potential advancement to bachelor-level engineering programs and as engineers in the Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineering Technology program. A graduate from AD Poly’s programs is expected to be able to:
Make independent technical judgments and assume responsible duties in their field under the general supervision ofa professional engineer,
Apply current technologies and general engineering principles to solve technical problems,
Assist and work with professional engineers to transfer and develop new technologies
Understand the management and function of an industrial organization,
Communicate clearly both orally and in writing in English.
All of these goals can be easily adapted for by the expected graduate of the Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineering Technology program.
