Dr. Walid Ayadi

Dr. Walid Ayadi earned a BSc (Hons) in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, MSc, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and has spent the past 18 years as an academic in public and private universities meeting European, American, and British educational systems. Dr. Walid has also devoted 10 years of scientific research that involved five scientific papers, two books, and three patents.

His applied research activities meet or exceed industry needs and he has been extremely active in the area of technology transfer. Dr. Walid has made significant contributions to numerous industrial projects designed to solve real-world problems, most recently with the Gesellschaft Internationale Zusammenarbeit or GIZ in Germany. At present, Dr. Walid is conducting research on robotics and mechatronic systems for industry 4.0.

Dr. Walid is certified in Solidworks and LabVIEW. He recently served as a mentor and coach for several start-up organizations. Dr. Walid also received a grant from Columbia University in New York to work on the Makerspace Team, a program for young entrepreneurs.
